Our purpose in action
Our impact
At Kardan, our vision is to empower employees, support families, and foster economic participation, a stronger culture, and an equitable society. Thriving, passionate, and high-calibre tradespeople and professionals form the backbone of our business — they are reliable, uphold the highest standards, and overcome challenges to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Creating opportunity through employment
Our strong networks, social and economic capacity, and ability to construct in regional and remote areas create key opportunities for Aboriginal men and women, people living with Disability, and individuals over 55 to reach their full potential through engagement, employment, upskilling, and training in construction.
Kardan continues to provide ongoing mentorship, training, employment opportunities, and work readiness — not only for today but to support the future growth and security of WA’s Aboriginal community, and more broadly, Australia’s young talent.

Social Procurement in Action
We embed social impact into our procurement practices by:
-
Partnering with local and Aboriginal-owned businesses
-
Supporting social enterprises and community suppliers
-
Ensuring contracts and supply chains deliver shared value for communities
Through these initiatives, every project we undertake delivers high-quality outcomes while strengthening economic participation and social equity across Western Australia.

Work with us
With meaningful employment and supportive owners comes a far greater personal purpose — improving your lifestyle and family situation, developing stronger skill sets, and, sooner than expected, perhaps even launching your own business in the construction industry.
Creating attractive and supportive employment pathways benefits individuals and empowers entire communities.
Our clients relish their participation in Kardan projects because they understand they are helping to directly employ and enhance the lives of Indigenous Australians, as well as people of all ages and abilities.
In other words… they are truly making a difference.
